CUBISM

(ENG) Avant-gardes are artistic movements that challenge established norms and break with tradition, with their fundamental characteristic being freedom of expression. For this reason, merging sculptural Cubism with fashion represents a way of bringing this freedom into the realm of clothing and reinterpret the human silhouette and textiles by adding an artistic and conceptual dimension. This chapter explores this relationship in order to turn fashion into a personal and cultural expression beyond its practical function, thereby stimulating creativity and aesthetic exploration.

(ESP) Las vanguardias son movimientos artísticos que desafían las normas establecidas y rompen con la tradición, su característica fundamental es la libertad de expresión. Por esta razón, fusionar el Cubismo escultórico con la moda representa una forma de llevar esta libertad al ámbito de la vestimenta y reinterpretar la silueta humana y los textiles agregando una dimensión artística y conceptual. Este capítulo explora esta relación con el fin de convertir la moda en una expresión personal y cultural más allá de su función práctica, estimulando así la creatividad y la exploración estética.
